How to earn money on Quora Partner Program

Quora Partner Program is an initiative from Quora to its selected users to earn money through its platform.In this post i am going to explain in detail what was the process for joinning this program and what was my personal experience working in this program.

Firstly,i would like to clear a misunderstanding that people have in their mind.This program is not for every user on Quora platform.This is only for selected Quora users.Quora will send an invitation to people based on certain criteria like the user location and those selected users can join this program.

The invitation message will look something like this.You can see in the image below!

So,after getting the invitation there are 2 ways by which you can join the program.First one is through the web or you can download the Quora app on your mobile and you can see "Partner" in red text on the side bar through which you can join it.You need a stripe account if you are in US or a paypal account if you are elsewhere in the globe.Follow the process which was described in detail in the application or quora website.

Okay.Now since we have seen the process through which we can join the program,i will tell you what we need to do to earn money on Quora and also share you my personal experiences and tips to increase your earnings. But let me be honest with you here.This is not an easy process.It takes a lot of time,effort and consistency to earn some money.

What is the main factor that determines our success?

Well it is our ability to ask questions.This is the only thing needed to earn in this program.But the problem is your question needs to be unique.There are lakhs of people in Quora partner program that it will become really hard to think about unique questions that were never asked before.Well if you ask the same question that was asked before the bot will find out and merge your question with the previously asked question and you will not be able to make the money.So,firstly the required skill you should be having is to take the time and question everything in existence and see if those questions are already asked in the past on Quora.If the question is asked, try another question and if you find out that there are few questions in that topic that you have selected and your question has not been posted yet,congrats you can now post your question finally.So you should have already understood by now how difficult the process is.Quora recommends a daily goal of 10 questions to be asked.Initially when you start out,you may think '10' is not a big number and you may even post more than 10 but tust me in the long run you may really not find those many questions.As the platform is even becoming huge,there are chances that most of the famous questions will already be taken.

So what are the tips to overcome these problems?

These are my personal tips and recommendations i would give to those who are aspiring to make some earnings on Quora:-

TIP1:-

Find the right topic to ask questions.Check the insights tab provided by Quora where you will see the top questions in a specific category performing well.Posting just unique questions will do no good for you.You should think what are the topics people may be searching for or asking questions on and then you should ask those kind of unique questions.It is all about SEO.The more famous keywords you use the better your question gets noticed and the better you get paid.

I provided an example above which is one of the popular questions on Quora.If you see the question,it is more commonly asked question.It doesn`t require too much intelligence or knowledge.It is all about common sense and reading the majority people`s mind and guessing what problems they might be facing or thinking about a more fundamental questions which requires intelligence like the sun,water,human psychology...etc

TIP2:-

Send reqests to answer the questions to more and more relavent people when it is possible. You will be given a limit of 25 requests per day,so make sure you use all the requests for that question every single day.You can post new questions but don`t forget to send requests to your older questions.Since,those questions are already having certain views adding a few more views to those questions may help it become popular.Remember,consistency is the key.

Also people adding answers to your questions can help get little more views to your question.You can checkout one of the questions that i asked recently which got around 1k views.I sent out all the requests possible.

Between don`t worry about those internal and external statistics in traffic sources.That is automatically generated from Quora side and we dont have much control of it.But our earnings are directly linked to the tranffic sources and AD IMPRESSIONS.The more Ad impressions you get,the more you earn.Infact,i saw few users earn much more with less views than those with more views.So,it is all about Ad impressions.

TIP3:-

This is one more important tip i would like to share.Select those people to send requests who are having good number of followers base.You can select spaces even.Once you send requests to spaces,if your question is having good quality then they are going to accept it.Once they answer to your question,you can expect good number of views from their followers.If the answers are good,then users on Quora are naturally going to spend more time on your question and the chances of getting those Ad impressions will increase.

 Remember the spaces which are having good number of followers in a particular topic and request answers from them for your question in that particular topic.Don`t request unrelavent spaces or people to answer your question because there are high chances of getting wrong information from that person due to inexperience.

TIP4:-

This is the final tip i would like to share.Stay updated with the Quora questions on insights and check the suggested topics from Quora that needs more questions.It is going to take a lot of time to think about the topic for the question.So just checking the suggested topics can give you the idea.Sometimes,checking the older questions in some other topics and connecting that question type to some other topic is really a good technique.
